OBAMA FREEZES ALL PENDING BUSH DIRECTIVES UPON INAUGURATED

BREAKING NEWS
In the freezing cold, hundreds of thousands of people gathered on the National Mall in front of the Capitol to welcome Barack Hussein Obama as the forty-fourth President of the US on Tuesday.
However, immediately taking office, US President Barack Obama has ordered all pending Presidential Directives issued by former President George W. Bush freeze for reassessment.
Rahm Emanuel, the new White House chief of staff, issued a directive on Tuesday ordering all US federal agencies to prevent the enactment of the latest rules and regulations signed by Bush 'until a legal and policy review can be conducted by the Obama Administration,' AFP reported.
Obama, a tough Bush doctrine critic, had promised the action days before taking office.
Meanwhile in Tel Aviv an Israeli military officer has been arrested for refusing to kill Palestinians in the three-week offensive against Gaza.
Israel arrested Noam Livne in his home in Tel Aviv on Monday.
Livne cited ethical reasons for his objection to the war against civilians, saying that the army's top brass would not accept his reasons.
This is the second time that Livne disobeyed the army. In 2001, he refused to go to war and was sent to prison.
