THE INDISPENSABLE ARGENTINA BEAT HOLLAND IN PENALTY SHOOTOUT


After an intense 'war' of attrition, the South American hopeful Argentina, finally getting the job done after full and extra time via the route of penalty kicks. Argentina won the penalty shootout. 
Goalkeeper Sergio Romero saved two penalties to send Argentina into the World Cup final with a 4-2 shootout win over the Netherlands after the game finished in a 0-0 stalemate. 
Argentina, a two time World Cup winner, reached its fifth final, and its first in 24 years. It won the title in 1978 and 1986 and lost the championship matches in 1930 and 1990. It played West Germany in both the '86 and '90 finals.
Argentina will now meet Germany in the final of the World Cup on Sunday while Holland face Brazil in the third place match on Saturday next. 
According to report, Argentina will have the best support ahead of their World Cup final against Germany even though the tournament is in Brazil. 
The Argentina traveling fans and the support from back home will help them overcome the superior Germany.
