THE PIRATES OF SOUTH CHINA SEA MAY HIJACKED THE MISSING MALAYSIA OIL TANER

Obviously we have heard sensational news the Somali Pirates are hijacking  cargo ships in Arabia Sea or Gulf of Aden, however in the vicinity of South China Sea, Malaysian oil tanker was suspected to have been hijacked by robbers or pirates of either Malaysian nationality or foreigners from neighbouring countries. Indeed it is a rare story.
According to Admiral Ahmad Puzi, the deputy director (Operations) of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA)  the reasons that the ship was deduced to have been hijacked was that it did not arrive at the Kuantan Port the next day at 10.30am as scheduled.
He also said that had the missing oil tanker sunk or burned at sea, then there would have been signs of its disappearance.

The Malaysian-registered vessel MT Orkim Harmony was said to be carrying 5879 metric tonnes of RON 95 petrol worth RM21 million. If was reported missing in the South China Sea near Johor last Thursday (June 11).
